Marco joined Gesca Ltd., a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada that specializes in online media, in July 2006. As President of Gesca Digital Investments, his mission is to develop the company’s digital assets through acquisitions and equity participation.
In addition to this role, Marco has taken on other responsibilities within the group, including President of Cyberpresse, President of w.illi.am/ and Co-President of Duproprio.com; he continues to hold the latter position today.
Marco founded w.illi.am/ for Gesca in 2007, with the objective of making w.illi.am/ the leading digital consulting, marketing and development firm of its kind in Canada. He counts on the experience and expertise of his team, w.illi.am/’s capacity to attract the best talent and total customer satisfaction. Today Marco is President of the w.illi.am/ Group, the management company that owns w.illi.am/, and is Chair of w.illi.am/’s Board of Directors.
Before joining Gesca, Marco was integral to the success of a number of companies. Co-Founder of Cesart (now Bell Web Solutions) in 1996, where he served as Executive VicePresident and President, he led the company to become one of the top and most recognized web consulting and development firms, before it was acquired by Bell Canada in 2005. He also took part in the development of StreamTheWorld during his four years as a member of the Board of Directors, until it was sold to the American company Triton Media Group. Today he sits on the Board of Directors of Acquisio, a world leader that delivers multiplatform marketing campaign management software, with customers in over 50 countries, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Media City Ads, a business with a number of advertising networks across Canada.
Damien Lefebvre was appointed Co-President of w.illi.am/’s in June 2011. He was previously Executive Vice-President, Consulting.
Responsible for the development of the company’s commercial activities and service offer, Damien has been integral to the firm’s success by setting up its Montreal offices and acquiring North American clients in Toronto, Ottawa, Dallas and Quebec City. His experience, his prominent clients and his vision have made Damien Lefebvre a figurehead of the digital industry across Canada.
Guided by his passion for digital technologies, Damien Lefebvre joined w.illi.am/ after ten years of experience in strategy and web marketing. As Vice-President of Consulting and then Operations Manager, he contributed to the rise of CESART (acquired by Bell Canada in 2005), one of the most flourishing businesses in the web industry during the 2000s.
Damien has a knack for evaluating the emerging business needs of a constantly growing clientele. He offers strategic, innovative solutions that deliver strong long-term added value and respond to specific objectives. Throughout his career, he has participated in large-scale digital projects for international customers such as Orange/France Telecom, Bell Canada, General Electric, Workopolis, Mary Kay, Astral and National Bank of Canada.

Damien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics option, from the Institut Études Politiques de Lyon and a Master’s degree in Managerial Sciences, Marketing option, from HEC Montréal.

Annie Levesque is responsible for w.illi.am/’s Operations. Appointed Co-President in June 2011, she has been Executive Vice-President, Development since the company was founded.
She put in place a top-notch operational structure while contributing to mandates for major clients. Annie has enabled w.illi.am/ to maintain annual growth of 30% while improving its operations and performance.
Annie’s primary objective is to bring together the best talent in the industry that shares w.illi.am/’s values: passion for the profession, motivation for achieving ambitious results, integrity and ethics in everything they do and the pleasure of teamwork.
Annie was part of the original CESART team, having in turn held the positions of Vice-President of Operations and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. At the beginning of the 2000s, the firm became one of the Canadian leaders in interactive marketing and web development before being acquired by communications giant Bell.
Annie has acquired wide-ranging experience in developing digital solutions and managing major projects for organizations such as Bombardier, Bell Canada, Fido, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Cogeco Cable.
Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing option, from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
